The church's new pumpkin patch on Mars Hill Road opened Oct. 14, with more than 1,400 pumpkins and gourds priced from $1 to $50. Proceeds benefit the church's NextGen Ministries.
Mars Hill Presbyterian Church opened its first pumpkin patch on Oct. 14 at the church on Mars Hill Road, which has an Acworth address, according to a Marietta Daily Journal staff report published that day.
The patch has more than 1,400 pumpkins and gourds. The Journal reported that it is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. through Oct. 31.
Prices and where the money goes
Pumpkins are priced by circumference, from $1 to $50. Money from the sale goes to the church's NextGen Ministries, which the Journal describes as serving children, youth and young adults in the greater Acworth area.
Before you go
The church's website, mhchurch.com, lists the address as 3385 Mars Hill Road, Acworth, GA 30101, and the phone number as 770-974-4395. The church office is staffed Monday and Wednesday mornings, from 9 a.m. to noon, so calling then is the most direct way to check hours or supply before a weekend trip.
